The owners, which previously joined the two buildings, decided to continue working into one. Thus, both focus production and warehouse tasks such as administration and management. Our objective was to maximize the usable area in one of the buildings and be as flexible as possible in the other to adaptany other activity in the future.
A prefabricated concrete structure, independent of the neighbouring buildings, greatly reducing the cost and execution time on a conventional structure. In the main building spaces perfectly fit the requirements of each function: access height of 4.5 m allows loading and unloading of goods; on the ground floor are storing spaces and the heaviest machinery; in the mezzanine, thanks to the generous light of the deck, we find the main area of work and the rest of the storing spaces, and finally, in the second mezzanine and just above the loading and unloading, there are offices and meeting spaces. A staircase and a lift communicate these levels. The stair allows a separate entrance for visitors to the offices and acces to dressing rooms and staff rest area.
In the construction of the building has been careful in the use of fireproof materials and protection of electrical installations, surpassing the strict requirements for this type of activity.
